The Wild West was the begging of the end, Petersen and Saban tapped out for a reason. Greed is slowly going to ruin this sport. These blue bloods recruit well and when they miss they can simply buy players to fill in the gaps and nobody is doing it better than tOSU.
To a lesson extent much less this has happened to the NBA since the KobeShaq mini dynasty. I still love watching the top 25 games and Washington but if were younger I would be a fringe fan in 5-10 years.
