This is pretty mild. I’m a GOP precinct chair in Texas, we’re out for blood.

We’ve grown our county committee 150%, have outted our chairman and are actively primarying more than half of the GOP incumbents including Abbott. Our county has a 50+ person committee to vet every single school board, judge, commissioner, etc.

Get a bunch of rule of law autists who have stopped trusting the system on your ass, they won’t let up.

Crenshaw is going nowhere fast. Intentionally ticking off your Republican base can only mean one thing - he is delusional enough to think that he will get the support of the MSM and moderate dems. Massive welfare programs, inflation, open borders, mandates, the punishing of small businesses and the American energy industry and the continuing collapse of the public education system is what you are actually supporting. I just went and looked up Crenshaw's voting record. He isn't a shitty turncoat on most issues. A 98% thumbs up voting score generally from the last legislative session (92 % lifetime which is a tick below the 94% average). He isn't Romney. But he gets bugs up his ass on weird issues that I assume he sees a point of honor but are really just uniparty Bill Kristol garbage. And, most alarmingly, he is C rated from the Gun Owners of America. A C as a conservative is abysmal.

So yeah, fuck that guy.

edit: To be fair to one eye I can't find anything jumping out in his record that shows him to be weak on 2A, but GOA didn't just give him a C for no reason (I assume). Didn't bother to look up his NRA ranking because fuck Wayne LaPierre in the ass.

Crenshaw supported red flag laws and voted for the bipartisan gun control that died iirc.

Everyone in the 2a community hates him and if I'm mistaken and that isn't why I'm sure it's something similar anyways.
