Extend Fisch

Baseman

New Fish
Pay up. Fuck you money. Not fuck everyone money.

He's winning and recruiting definitely is trending up. He's not elite but in today's game -portal, player retention, etc, he's better, more effective than he would have been pre-NIL. Lower his buyout if an NFL team hires him. I'm too old to start over, reload, etc. DeBoer is better but he also walked into a prime situation, a loaded roster, add a QB, voila, Natty contender. DeBoer didn't recruit like Fisch. Maybe UW finally got religion and boosters realized you need to pay for play.
Maybe Fisch is Ron Zook. Could be. Even if he is, this is big boy football. Conference $ at stake. Urban Meyer's fastball has been sheleved too long. I've seen enough to take the next step.

Disagree. IDC. Before I go, I just want to spend New Years somewhere warm with a team capable of crossing the finish line. If Fisch loses to Oregon on Saturday, all bets are off.

I don't even care whether he is extended. His time here is likely very limited.
If you want to ink him to a (slightly) longer contract then you have to include an offset clause like Penn State had with Franklin.

Loss to Wisconsin and wins against Purdue and UCLA don't get you extensions. BONEM does though

He's got nowhere else to go
No raise until he makes the playoffs

Win 10 games and sure.gif
BONEM and lose bowl game, maybe. Probably not.
Lose to Oregon and win bowl game? No.
Finish 8-5? Tarmac.

Wisconsin really fucked everything for everyone. He obviously doesn’t want to be in the city where he’s currently forced to live, but no one else wants him, and he’s just above average enough to never be fired. He's just like all of us!

There is no proof Fisch hates Seattle. He coached here before, his wife moved with the daughters because they had been there for 3 formative years and wanted to finish school there.
Happens often with high paid executive types.
Wisconsin did fuck UW out of playoff contention, but could you imagine this team in a road playoff game? Lol.

I get pissed when we lose and will again on Saturday, but next year is the year. Yes, things are trending in the right direction.

My dog does this really annoying thing where she likes to take shits on walks on hills but faces the wrong way.

We thought Deboer would stay because he had family attending the school
Maybe the opposite will work for Fisch

Ignore the noise…grand scheme of thing coaches have only left UW for top 5 Blue Blood jobs (USC, Alabama), retired, or been pushed out for incompetence on the coaches or AD’s side.
