Of course the Pac-12 is tougher now.
But not so much because the other teams are superior.
We're just become a crappy program.

Not everyone believes the Pac-10(+2) is tougher now than before. I actually still believe that because Stanford and Oregon are traditional examples of losers or no better than mid-level in West Coast football, the Pac started to get weaker in the early '90's because of the void in upper level elite programs which allowed for the rise of tree and duck football.
