Evan Weaver (DE, 2016) Offered

123 tackles, 36 TFL, 14 Sacks last season. I've never seen Weaver play, but that is a monster season.
 
He could have changed the wording on his tweet a little bit from his offer from Idaho.
 
Here are my thoughts: He's okay.

I think they are going to make him a 5-Tech and Ektard along with the Doog army say he can't play 5-Tech and is more of a Josh Shirley type, so that's good enough for me to know that he's probably a prototypical 5-Tech.

WTF are they talking about? Josh Shirley was a run around the tackle edge rusher, Weaver could probably bulk up to 280 pretty easy and be a 5-tech as you said. Idiots.

Tepid praise, but not the full blown hate I was expecting.

Not sure I'd categorize this as "wanting" him.

High school doesn’t matter and isn’t ever an indicator of a guy is really good.

I refer to people in that weight range as light weights who can’t handle the ups and downs of nacho season (nacho season starts on May 6th and ends on Cinco De Mayo the following year).
