I'll give Ektard this much: A lot of media outlets have Ed fucking Reynolds as a preseason All American. That guy's fucking awful. Like Massey awful. If Reynolds (or Parker) is your measuring stick, Buchanon probably does seem like a world-beater.

Reynolds is only on the lists because he had 6 INT's last year. I'm with you, I'm not sure how good he actually is. I do think Parker is a stud.

Mark Richt is on the hot seat because not winning the SEC puts you on the hot seat. 9 wins every season isn't good enough in the SEC, whereas in the Pac 12, 7 win seasons bring praise.

Picking off passes is easy when you've got a great passrush in front of you. If you go back and watch the '12 Furd (lol) game again, you'll see that Reynolds was nearly as deserving of a Husky game ball as Montgomery and Nunes.

Parker's okay. Kinda disappears against good offenses, but looks great against lesser competition.
