Sankey and Polk both had a reliable QB and WR's /TE. Kinda see the difference between then and now? And both had blockers who started more than a few games. Oh J, no wonder you just post runing SEC screens. You are more fucking college football stupid than I originally thought. Love the Gorman Thomas reference but we don't need a Gorman Thomas for 10 years, we just need one of his few best few years.

If Washington can be the equivalent of .244 .356 .539 with 45 bombs, 125 RBIs, and 97 runs like Thomas did in 1979, I'd be thrilled.

Most of the time you get him running into the backs of linemen, sometimes you get homeruns. That YPC is great, obviously, but a lot of that is just his long runs. I don't want to 'take them away', but when you compare that to Sankey's YPC, Sankey's YPC was so much more impressive because it really reflected YPC not just the fact that he housed 2 and got 2 yards every other time.

The jury is still out with D-Wawrsh, but his inconsistent performances contribute to an offense with no identity or consistency.
