Growing up in Portland area we caught a lot of shit for being Huskies. It was all relatively good natured and I remember one of my dads….he would just laugh it off. It was duck calls etc.

What happened in Vegas from Wed-Friday night was absolutely disgusting. The vitriol and general low class of the duck fanbase…. WTF is wrong with you? So angry and just mad.

I get that responses will justify here below…”oh yeah? Well Husky fan did this….”

Friday night….not a duck fan to be seen in Vegas. All in bed by 10. Not a word in the airports either. Weird.

several times later in the night on Friday Ducks fans yelled GO DUCKS and gave the Zero hand sign at us... just walking through casinos not saying a word to anyone (just wearing UW gear).

So bizarre after losing in convincing fashion.

Fair enough but it's not like Oregon has a century of being relavant and the last 2 years have been pretty darn good considering this was the best the Pac12 ever was and perhaps one of the best for even the Pac10 this year. Oregon just happened to run into a UW team that matched up well and was helped by some inexperienced and arrogant coaching.

Like Seattle, Portland used to be awesome. I was visiting PDX (ILTCIT) last summer and it made me sad what’s happened to that city.

Definitely saw some Ducks posting about how Nix' numbers were similar to Mariota's and how it's a question if Nix is the GOAT. Those are the same people now acting like it's not a conversation if Penix is the best Pac-12 player of the P12 era.
