With the sudden and pleasant news regarding Tuipolotu and his specifically citing Malloe as a major factor in his decision, I looked at the 4-star and 5-star recruits with Husky offers expressing at least medium interest who seem like they are of Polynesian decent.

Extrapolating in doogish fashion, Malloe should give the Dawgs a leg up in landing the Islander DLs on the list and perhaps even some of the non-DL players.

Conclusion: Poly pipeline leads to an off-season natty every year Malloe is on staff.

Barring a disaster 7-5 or really even 8-4 year that has us right around .500 in conference again, I don't even think that we need to have a 2016 Conference Winning season to absolutely kill it in 2018 recruiting. The momentum is already there.
