I’m pretty sure he can be a non paid analyst and still be an advisor on the Hawks payroll so you’re not that far off
 
He could also semi retire in Arizona, keep their roster intact, portal in a defense, and have a serious team next year. We can’t have nice things.

After reading this post and giving it some careful consideration, I've decided that Pete Carroll at DC is completely logical and is exactly what this program needs.
