Don't worry, Willie Taggart has a plan

After he is fired during or after the 2019 season, does FSU make a run at Mario? Tough to turn down that job.
 
I’m really worried FSU is going to take this the wrong way. It’s not a black eye for Taggart it’s part of the plan. Don’t forget the plan.
 
The plan:

As long as we get 2 top QBs NEXT year then not getting them THIS year (or the year before) isn't a big deal.
 
It was pretty good for a doogish laugh when Willie dumped the Ducks, but it sure would have been better in all aspects if he had stayed for a few years and killed some more snakes.

I embarrassingly admit, that I was a little upset when Taggart left. I thought he was a poor in game coach, but his recruiting could at least make them decent again. Cristobal hasn't proven to be great in game either, but I think he's a little bit more competent. He's also a better recruiter than Taggart. Say what you want about Cristobal, but after witnessing his first 14 months in Tallahassee, Taggart leaving was a blessing.

I worry more about cristoballz way more than Taggart.

I just hope Diaz at Miami gets abducted by aliens and then poaches cristoballz away...

Mario has big ties to the State of Florida and also to Alabama. He's an ACC / SEC guy, knows the landscape well.

Plus that would be like saying the Huskies shouldn't hire Chris Petersen because Houston Nutt also coached at Boise State but was a dumpster fire later at Ole Miss and got fired.

Mario has big ties to the State of Florida and also to Alabama. He's an ACC / SEC guy, knows the landscape well.

Not quite. This would be more like saying after Sark left for USC that we would hire Lane Kiffin or Norm Chow. "Lets go back to the USC, Pete Carroll, offensive coordinator route because we liked the results the first time so much!"

Thats exactly what countless people said, only it was usually one of the other former BSU guys being used as evidence.
