Great photo's and he was always the professional. I really liked the photo from his obvious resignation you can see just how upset he is.

Great coach and was definitely an "adult" which this program is lacking under Sark.

For clarification, the Times' description says the picture was taken at the announcement of Hobert's suspension, but he is upset nonetheless.

I went to google images to find some more:

The ninth one down. That's the one. Arms folded. Stoic. Almost grumpy. Clearly anticipating that something shitty may still happen. Ever the pessimist. Serious grown up coaching the team. Assistants and players can smile and be happy. He can afford to. Someone has to watch the shop. Go ahead and celebrate you dumb fucks. I'm already three scenarios ahead of you, and more importantly, the guy across the field.

Reminds me of the real Godfather talking to Michael. "Women and children can afford to be careless. Men cannot be careless."

If James had been a WOP born in Brooklyn, what a Don he would have been.

The thing I remember most about him: everyone knew, if he had time to figure you out, you were in for a long fucking day. That's all coaching.

It is fucking tragic that we never built a statue of him. What a disgrace.

I don't think he would have liked to see his own statue in front of the stadium. His attitude would have been (IMO, and my experiences with him personally) that statues are for dead people.

The Pic 4 posts up from unfrozencaveman is pure DJ.
