Not really. I've had my hopes dashed so many times I think I'm numb. I thought in 2016 we? turned the corner. Peterson has his guys in there and while they shit their pants against Alabama I thought it was something to build on. Then I got kicked in the nuts repeatedly. Only bright spot is the apple cup, but really who gives a shit?
The players don't seem to care. Why should I?

Yes I care. I wouldn’t be on this website if I didn’t.
However, I’ve also made the conscious decision to de-prioritize Husky football. Not renewing my season tickets, not buying anymore fan gear, and in all likelihood won’t go to any of the games.
I went through a period where I was sad about this, but my time and money are precious and I’m not going to waste them on a mediocre season and game day experience.
I obviously will change my tune if the conference, AD, and team fix some things, but so far all the evidence points to “we’re fine with settling for the occasional PAC-12 title or playing in some middling bowl game.”
That’s fine for some fans, but not for me.
So I’ll watch the highlights, pop in here every once and awhile, and live my life.

I could pretend I don’t care. I definitely lost interest last year and do most seasons midway thru the year, but by week 1 I will want to crush Michigan and be looking for reasons to doog.
The slide against Cal where Eason could have gotten a first but slid a yard and half short made my blood boil. Barely anyone even said anything in the game thread either because Eason was untouchable to most at the time. I refused to say anything about having a real QB or his dick after that. One of the many low points of last season.
