Not really. I hope it gets tons of hype and more incidents like this happen in the near future. Anything to discredit the committee and force a return to the BCS, albeit with playoffs.

People will complain no matter what system is used. They can make it a 32 team playoff, and some 7-5 team who lost to four teams by 13 points and had too many injuries will bitch. I'm ok with computers if it's easier to understand the formulas. Four teams> two though.

People went nuts 25 years ago when they just used the bowl games and it was very unscientific. Now people have nostalgia for that ( having all the good bowl games on New Years Day was cool, not to settle in on the field was dumb).

I noticed a few posters implying that they don't want USC to be good. They would rather they suck forever for whatever reason. Fuck that. I want every team in the conference to be as strong as possible and I want us to beat all their asses on national tv while the crowd chants P-A-C P-A-C. I want the Pac to win 7 straight natties while signing a deal with ESPN for their network. Pussies.
