To be fair Portland is an embarrassing shitshow. When national media outright says you don't even try to play defense, it's time to blow it up.

Can’t be worse than the Nets Defense

Portland is actually holding up fairly well imo.

9-8 with CJ and Nurk missing last 3-4 games as well.

They are not going to win with defense so minus well run n gun

That's the main reason the GM needs to go. Every year the same 3 guys who are supposed to be cornerstone players are out half the year. Now the overall value of the roster is shit except for Dame and a few younger guys.

No significant moves. No real creativity.

CJ who I love has to be dealt. He's too expensive, you have Gary Trent who actually plays defense, it's a no brainier with a roster stuck like this.

Nurk doesn't have the mentality and personality of the kind of player he should be. Too soft overall, even without the injuries.

Collins a bust. GM just can't give up on this advanced stats based core that can't stay healthy and gets shredded defensively even in the first round.

The Blazers are really simple from my perspective when it comes to defense and while it's bad, it's the underlying issues that bother me

1) Your best players set the tone ... I’d like to see both Dame and CJ take more accountability defensively

2) How you keep rolling back Terry Stotts year after year I just don’t get given the defense
