His forced calls are high school level. He is a professional that has a clean production but his voice bring me pain. Jimmy Lake of announcers. @dannendawg

I have a certain level of romanticism for radio calls and pre/postgame production and he borderline ruins the whole thing for me

I hate to agree on this but it's true. When I listened to calls of his from the Oregon game, I immediately thought "this sounds like a high school announcer"

He seems like a nice guy and all. But...
 
Yeah, the enthusiasm feels “manufactured” if that makes sense. He’s not really a Husky fan, he just gets paid to do the broadcast.

I cringe when he gets excited. It’s so forced and fake. He seems like a good enough dude, but he’s straight up a high school level announcer.

Emotion is fine. Last I checked Gus Johnson and Joe Davis are pretty good. One also followed a legend.

Brink isn't their normal guy and yes he was bad.

The Oregon guys are imbred cheerleaders like most of the ducks here.
 
The endless high pitched, voice cracking is tough to listen to. I always cringe when they use his clips for the UW videos.
