Dillion Johnson looks really

Very disappointed by RBs. Nixon looks quick but not physical. Dillon brings almost nothing to the table. Adams is lame.

Feel like the OL actually sucks at run blocking.

Dillon= super JAG. He tries to shake and bake and has nothing. Tybo one play. No Newton. Ugly. Totally abandoned the run.

They're all JAGs. Calling for one over another too loudly doesn't really make sense. I think Nixon looked the best but he doesn't do anything that separates him beyond debate. Sam Adams as the 4th or 4th stringer is only slightly worse

Newton is just more of the same. He shouldn't be returning kicks either. He doesn't have the extra gear he needs and always resorts to the stutter step and go, followed by another stutter step and go, and repeat, until he's tackled. He doesn't plant and get positive yards where he can. He could've cut upfield early on that return and at least crashed over the 25.

We need tybo to step up

That would be the only thing left to hope for.

Otherwise we know what they are. We also know that the offense will get by. They'll find some holes and won't perform any worse than Papa and Cam Davis did

The running game sucked ass there’s no way around it.

I think it will be there as the year goes on, though. DeBoner seemed like he wanted to play thumper ball at the start and Boise wasn’t having any of it. So it became Air Boner.

Pass the ball to set up the run and stretch the defense early, and things will loosen up. The guards and center will get better at run blocking too — they played like shit today in the run game.

I’m not ready to burn all the RBs at the stake yet.

I’ve got my lighter in hand.

I'm old enough to remember how bad the running game was after week 1 last year. Couldn't convert a 3rd and 1 to save their lives.

I will repeat myself: anyone who thought the SEC was letting a stud RB transfer to the pacific NW was retarded. Our hopes rest on Nixon.

Lack of running game and a corner who can’t cover or tackle will cost this team 2-3 wins

Corner play was way better than last year. The entire defense was basically helpless at the beginning of 2022.

At RB they really need somebody who can make the necessary short yards. Cam Davis scored a lot of TDs last year in that role.

We all know how this plays out…next week they will sell out against the pass and “we” will run for 250…

There's going to be a different RB look the best every week.

None of them are special.
