I don’t love the trollishness of it all because at its heart it really is just for optics. But if you’re gonna troll you might as well have the better factual argument (which desantis and abbot do) and be really funny at it.

The thought of those rich folk having their end of summer ruined by some poor people showing up on their doorstep is pretty hilarious. Also nice to see the debt for lll is being called for all that virtue signaling.

This and many of the cities screaming foul have loved informing the world how inclusive they were as a "sanctuary city".
 
When I first moved to the central valley 20 years ago, I was impressed with some of Sacramento's suburbs like Roseville, Rocklin, Folsom and Eldorado Hills. The poverty and homelessness were evident in other communities and or cities nearby. Now I'm just blown away to see these camps and crime coming to even the nicest communities and the government does nothing.

Martha’s Vineyard school district is 87% white and 1.5% Hispanic. Relative to to rest of Mass. they’re at -8.6%.

DeathSantis just trying to help them with the diversity they crow about every other majority white area of America needing.
 
It may be a troll. Or not. The people in the areas he's sending illegals to are sanctuary cities who never stop talking about how evil people are who don't want illegal immigration. Meanwhile they don't have to deal with the direct consequences. They just get to virtue signal without any skin in the game. This gives them experience with what the border states deal with. Which hopefully makes them realize the magnitude of the problem. I say there should be more sent to these places.
