Demond

Think about the most average QB Washington played this year. Maybe the Rutgers guy. What does this game look like with him?

I loathed Browning not for sucking but because of his arrogance and throwing teammates under the bus. Just like with Will Rogers last year, I don't hate Williams whatsoever. He seems like a nice kid who is struggling. He is open to more criticism since he is probably getting paid $1.5 million this year. But it is what it is.

He played terrible in the first half. There were multiple throws he has to make. He’s a good QB and will get better, but you gotta perform against the big boys.
 
We have been hard on Demond in big games, but he is a true sophomore and has looked amazing against everyone but the top of the conference.
Hopefully he takes a step after a full season starting and the team improving around him.

Everything you want in a QB. Pfft.
I'm going to be a little harsher than the crew: a lot of Husky players did their part today and played well but the QB wasn't one of them.
I have no clue if he will develop or if just this or that happens he'll be great. I do know that your OP is spot on: another dude in camp is necessary.
Washington showed up to play but couldn't overcome their 3 and out QB.

Demond panics more against the ranked teams. It appears to be a psychological thing.
He holds the ball longer against the good teams. He tries to force things to happen.
He plays like bad Russell Wilson against good teams.
His shortness really hurts his visibility.
He needs to be taught to throw the ball within 4 seconds every pass play. He's dancing around too much in the backfield.

Hopefully he improves next year.
Roebuck looks like he can replace Boston as the #1 WR. They should be fine at WR next year.
That Omari Evans WR needs to transfer again. He seems to be wasting space on the team. Get a 4* incoming high school WR to replace him.
 
I don't know guys. No one wants the guy to be better than me. Just don't see it. This isn't the old days where guys came out of high school having run the wing t and they needed 2-3 years to learn how to play QB. This was the perfect big game for Demond to turn into a guy and he did the exact opposite. Giant plays weren't asked to be made to take the game to the wire and give yourself a chance to win. Simple ones were.
Evans for example had at least three times to the naked eye to make easy big plays and they weren't converted.
