I was THERE during disco and hated the fuck out of it because I was supposed to as a rocker

But I got heavy into dance music in the 80's which was actually disco rebranded and then went back to the 70s and its cool

Saturday Night Fever soundtrack was like the biggest selling album in history for awhile

I was there, and and I was a rocker...It is really hard to dance to LZ, Deep Purple, Skynyrd, Foghat, et.al. Chicks want to dance, and if I wanted chicks, I had to dance. Opened me up to soul, R&B and funk...I hear old disco now and really like it

I’m dead serious. Disco gave us the best baselines of all time and truckloads of cocaine. Saturday Night Fever soundtrack is transcendent and it has the same fucking song on it twice.
