Daniel Heimuli, 5* 2019 LB, Menlo Park (Menlo-Atherton), CA (Committed)

He's wanted this offer for awhile. He told Huffman back in October "One school I'm really hoping for is Washington but then a lot more Pac-12 schools," said Heimuli. "I really like USC and UCLA, Utah and Washington State too but Washington is really up there."

The Huskies have been in early communication with Heimuli.

"I've talked to Coach (Bob) Gregory and he's done a great job getting me interested," said Heimuli.[/i]

Heimuli of the Tonga/BYU Heimulis?

Wasn't there a Heimuli that went to Oregon?

BYU has a Heimuli in the ‘80s.

Yes & Yes. There is also a Heimuli that went to Stanford.

Not sure how closely related they are. Keeping track of how related various Pacific Islanders football players are to one another is challenging. In fact, it's hard.

That isn't racism or stereotyping, it is just fact. Many NFL and college players of Polynesian descent are actually related to one another, at least distantly, and culturally they often refer to close friends of their parents as uncle or auntie, and to the children of those friends as cousins.
