Yeah, meanwhile the US taxpayers have been lighting money on fire so that the USPS can go make their own API that is such a pile of shit that it doesn't even work with bound printed matter with no real timeline on doing so. Gives back labels in a format that is so old that there isn't even a standard .net library to consume it. This is a brand new API by the way.

Gas prices have been passed on to the consumer since Covid.
USPS jacks up fuel surcharge or changes the zoning rules, then all the private consolidators are left with trying to figure out how to not completely piss off their customers and keep their rates competitive. 2-3 times a fucking year this happens.
Clearly FedEx and UPS have performed their services better than the USPS and people have voted with their pocketbook. Why shouldn't local mail delivery be subject to innovation and hustling Americans to do a better job?

Back in the day I had like 6 magazine subscriptions. Today not a one. Three day mail would be fine with me.
I have a 35 year old sweatshirt from The Sporting News that’s still holding up better than a Twinkie. Used to read all the baseball stats weekly. Wife loves the sweatshirt.
