I looked over the roster and maybe 20% - 30% are from out of state, but mostly from Oregon. We? get the occasional FBS washouts still looking to play. But mostly the team is composed of talented Washington athletes too small to play in D1. That's still big though. The small guys are in D3 and NAIA.

D2 has scholarships, just a lot fewer and I think they split them up.

That was a merciful end. Simon Fraser tried but they'd be lucky to ever put together a successful punt return.

D2 is like seeing a good small band, whereas even the PAC2 is arena rock. Both good. It's a different experience though.
 
One thing positive I can say about CWU is they have a great professor/lecturer in NW geology on YouTube. They are typically an hour and fascinating! I’ve watched hours and hours.

Haven’t seen this one and only an example. Definitely rather sit through 3 hours of him over watching central play football!
