The Cuogs have gotten 8 commits on defense in the last 2 weeks despite not having a DC. Why are these kids blindly committing to a defense without knowing who the coach is?

Remember that these recruits are true diamonds in the rough that Leach was able to find. Most if not all had silent under the table offers with Bama/FSU but fell in love with God's Country.
Sure 75% will transfer or quit but they are just bitter recruits who wouldn't have seen the field anyways because of the next under the radar class Leach has coming in.

Tezino is a good linebacker, UW should try to flip him. Same high school as Jeremy Kelly. The rest aren't anything to write home about.

I made my post prior to the Tezino commitment so that brings the total to 9 then. I must say I'm impressed. Considering the situation (shit school, shit town, shitty season, etc), Leach and co. are doing a solid job on the recruiting front.

People criticize Leach when he recruits diamonds in the ruff from faraway lands ... then loses, getting it wrong, but, nobody gives Leach credit when he plucks DIR's from faraway lands and wins, when they move on to star in the NFL.
Joe Salave'a leaves and Leech is beyond the fucked he already finds himself at.
