I like "Washington State is facing enormous pressure to fire a communist instructor who allegedly roughed up a conservative student for wearing a Trump cap." So, WSU (or really 90% at least of universities) institutionally would support hiring avowed communists but would blackball a conservative who had a picture of himself at a Trump rally with a MAGA hat. Let alone, they think having said commie retained after assaulting a student for his political views. But the enormous pressure is the bad thing here. They wouldn't suspend a professor walking into class with a MAGA hat on. Now a Che or Mao shirt would be completely acceptable.
