2026 is probably the reverse merger when the entire MWC is absorbed in the Pac-12. Wazzu and OSU have financial penalties if they try to poach only some and not all of the MWC schools

Well there's likely to be some justice. WSU is going to get destroyed by that conference. Odds are better than average that Beav will get the same after Smith leaves with all the good players.

The only reason they recruited better than MW programs is because they were in the P12. Now that they are in the same conference, why would anyone choose WSU and Pullman over any of those programs?
