Another Round of 32 Matchup in the Grand Ole Opry between legends

Hank Williams Sr

One of the first, if not the first, legend of Country music. His influence is still felt 60+ years after his death.

Dolly Parton

While there were certainly other female artists that came before her, Dolly very well may have been the first Country artist with significant cross over appeal to that of other genres.

Dolly over Hank Sr? You guys have to be kidding me. Not auspicious beginning to our country tournament.

Hell, the boobs even got me. Those things are magnificent.

Dolly was blessed with god given talent in many ways, but Hank is Hank is arguably the most important artist in the tournament in terms of lasting influence. He's not my favorite in the bracket by any means but he basically invented modern country music. Good thing we didn't include Bob Wills. Tequilla would have found a ways for him to lose to boobies too.

"the cause of death was heart failure caused by the combination of alcohol, morphine and chloral hydrate." Fucking Hank was the KING. Fucking bunch of pussy bois hanging on mama's dried up old teets. Jesus. Burn it all down now.

The results so far do not surprise me at all … this is what I expect out of this 32 artist bracket as there should be minimal easy decisions

In addition to her boobs, Dolly had one helluva set of pipes on her. That woman can sing.
