Cheers was a great show. But Dukes has Waylon as its balladeer. Plus Tom Wopat rowed for @Mad_Son .

I know people swear by Cheers but I have never gotten it. I don't even like it as much as Frasier and Frasier's overrated and dull.

Cheers was a Reagan era 80s show. Reagan wasnt funny. Standards were different.

Wood Shelley Long. The other ladies though...sooner coach.

The only exceptional character on Cheers was Carla's ex husband. I think it was Nick? That guy was funny as hell. There was a sequence where he tried hypnotizing Diane to show up and have sex with him. He got done, walked away, then turned around, dangled his watch or whatever again, and said "oh yeah, and uh, bring a six pack." A moment later Woody is seen walking like a zombie toward the door with a sixpack in his hand.

I think that was the funniest moment ever on that show. It's about the only specific one I can remember.
