My Thoughts: CAL, way too high.

Serious Thoughts: Obviously, preseason polls are pointless. That being said, ASU shouldn't even be in the top 25. USC (LOL).

And so begins the era where Petersen's Huskies will never LEAVE!! the Top 25.

Also, when Stanford beats USC, they'll be in the Top 10 and then when we beat Stanford...

I remember UW, circa 2003, when they gave up football, was preseason 14 or 15, and ran out a coach that everyone didn't like because they felt he was slimy. They hired a coach who had middling success elsewhere in the Pac 10, and proceeded to implode.

I could see SC doing this now. (Not really) And enjoying every minute of it.

If Sparty really is the #8 team in the country (and they did lose a lot), then I'd take the 15+ points that they are getting at Oregon.

If Notre Dame is #17 in the country, you should be taking the over on their season win total of 7.5 if you think that they'll end up there.

Speaking of Sark, the look on his face is priceless when he's facing a real team. It's a kind of sleep deprived gloss over, completely lost while shitting and pissing his pants, a special kind of Corky on Ambien look, and it might happen by the second game of the season this year ... or it might not until game five, the usual O/U ... either way it will be interesting.

Sparty is getting curb stomped by Oregon no matter what. I really think that game is gonna be ugly for MSU. They got a good matchup against Furd in the RB, but Oregon is an entirely different schematic challenge that I dont think MSU is up to. Especially @ Autzen
