Charity and Olive Garden

Thump

New Fish
Weird question, but a relative got me one of those Olive Garden gift cards as a xmas stocking stuffer. I've only been there once in my life, and would never go back. I realized later, Lowes was giving away those gift cards with purchases over a certain amount, so the relative got it for free. No worries there.

But I don't want to use it, and I don't really know anybody that would eat there.

So I was thinking I should offer it to one of those people that hangs out at freeway off ramps asking for handouts.

I don't have any experience giving anything to the people at the off ramps, or giving away Olive Garden gift cards, so thought I'd ask around before I try it.

See any problems with this idea?

They want drug money, not endless breadsticks.

Go online and there are tons of cash for cards websites that will give you a percentage of a gift cards value. If it's 50 bucks, they might give you 30 bucks for it and sell it to some fatty for 40. You get the point.

Olive Garden is a Darden restaurant, you can use the card at any of there other establishments.
