I know you are trying to be your usual asshole self, but FYI basically that is what happened on the West Coast to D2. Azusa Pacific, Humboldt State abandoned football. There aren't any good teams at left on the W Coast or really even in the Far West at the D2 level. There are plenty of D2 teams around, but not around here.
