Myopic lens. Just like adding Canada as a 51st state was always a horrible idea. You're adding a bunch of liberals who will swing the makeup of Congress by giving WA more seats in the House.
Just take Alberta as a state. They want out and are essentially Texas North.
Then make the rest of Canada a US territory and treat them like shit ala Puerto Rico.
