Watching the replay, and holy fuck, the announcers must have strained their necks blowing him all night. The fact that they compared him to Michael Vick is fucking absurd. Outside of being a black quarterback, Ward has nothing in common with Vick. His arm and athleticism aren’t even on the same planet as Vick. He’s worse than Delaura. Gulbranson might be the only Pac12 QB worse. Maybe the ASU mess. Comparing Ward to Vick is fucking embarrassing.

I was impressed by his scrambling. Trice and Martin were destroying Cougs OTs all game long, and Ward was able to navigate the collapsed pocket well.

Michael Vick, however, he is not. And WSU doesn't run the air raid.

That coverage from ESPN was embarrassing

Is it a shit offense or is it that he can’t read a defense, or both? Either way the coug offense all season has been him running around and improvising missing open wr’s and sometimes making big plays.

that offensive line is horrible and their best WR is a 5"5 midget grad transfer from Incarnate Word.

I love how people here started by describing the receiver as 5'8", then 5'7" and now Fudgie has him at 5'5". Within a couple years, we'll be referencing the Cougs' 4'11" receiver in the '22 Apple Cup

He played basketball at our rec over the summer. He's not 5"8 i'll tell you that much.

This. The old Pete K gameplan is what we should've done. They couldnt run well on us, weirdly

Every big Coug play was a janky pass to a wide open receiver as a result of Ward's scrambling. And half of them were on 4th down
