Losing to Alabama sucked ass, but we still won the conference and made one of the only two bowls that mean anything. I love the Rose Bowl, but it was a runner-up bowl this year.

On a more personal level, UW also annihilated every shitty streak we had going against us for the past 15 years.

Finebaum was on with Keyshawn this morning and USC is already a lock for the playoff next year. Should have been there this year instead of UW.

This is why USC gets first choice of recruits by the way.

Darnold scares me. We obviously made their defense look way better than it is. But to beat them Browning is going to have to grow a pair
 
I always like SC after an entire off season of everyone on their jock. They forget that they actually have to show up for workouts, and next thing you know they are 1-3 before they figure out they should probably actually start playing instead of hanging out with Snoop. Big Rose Bowel win is the best thing that could have happened to our? Dawgs.
 
I love the narrative that what happened to USC at the beginning of the season doesn't matter because Darnold was the starter the entire season and they were so much better at the end. Stanford/Utah/USC/Washington - two teams went 1-1, one went 1-2, one went 2-1. Get the fuck over it.

This is like the seahook fans in 2012 claiming the NFC title because they beat the team who went on to win the NFC by 40 late in the season in a meaningless game.

 
People are acting like USC beat Bama 56-0 after this 3 point victory over the 3rd best team in the Big 10. This is so incredibly similar to the situation when everyone had them preseason #1 with Kiffin because they beat Oregon in a shootout and had Heisman frontrunner Matt Barkley coming back. We all know how that ended.
 
let's see what USC does playing with some actual pressure and expectations. they're really good and I think darnold is the best in the nation, but the USC hype machine is strong and has lied in the past

Am I the only one who saw two incredibly flawed and poorly coached football teams in Pasadena?
