BRO seems to think UCLA is retaining Mora

Cowherd said on this morning's show he thinks Mora stays at UCLA and is only using WA to get more money for his assistants. Says Mora would leave for Texas though. Thinks Texas is the best coaching job on the planet.

Says also ESPN increasing television coverage of college football beginning in early '90s killed the northern schools' powerhouse statuses (WA, Nebraska, Penn St) because these days kids can go anywhere and be televised, so they choose the schools with warm weather.

L.A. talk radio thinks he is staying as well. They keep playing the KJR interview from years ago as to why it's possible he does go, but they think he stays. Supposedly Mora is talking to UCLA AD/officials today which they take as a sign he wants to stay and is negotiating for a better deal for his assistants in particular.

It's L.A. so that is what they are supposed to say to help with ratings/play here so of course take that for what it is.

Unless I have completely misread Mora, there is no way he would leave UCLA now for a job other than UW.

Good news, why would you pull the staff in if you were staying?

Would think a simple tweet ... I'm staying ... would be the 2013 thing to do.

Here's the real deal. Jim Mora and his #UCLA assistants still in Sacramento area. Will be in Fresno tonight in-house with Michiah Quick.
