Well that’s fucking stupid. You can’t repeatedly threaten to kill someone and not expect legal consequences for it, as an example. You also can’t blatantly defame somebody either by lying about them, as Alex Jones found out.

Hate crimes and hate speech have long been on my list of bullshit that needs to stop. The GOP should be using this to do so. You have people saying Charlie deserved to get shot because of his "hate speech".
It has always been a stupid concept
 
There’s hate speech and then there’s “I hate what he’s saying” speech.
clearly and narrowly define the former w/o ambiguity so we can get on with life….
