Your wright, 'tis a skrong field.
  1. Appetite
  2. Joshua Tree
  3. Strangeways, Here We Come
  4. Kick
  5. Hysteria

U2 is the classic love/hate band for me. Much akin to Pink Floyd in this regard. But still....The Joshua Tree is probably a top 5 rock record of the 80s for me.

The first time I ever smoked tweeds through was listening to Appetite. I was all like...

Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby, and Zooropa are all-timmers for me. Some good chit on earlier albums, and a few on subsequent.

I don't come back to listen to Welcome to the Jungle or Paradise City much. But It's So Easy, Out Ta Get Me and Mr. Brownstone hold the fuck up.

3. John Hiatt, Bring the Family, with Ry Cooder, Nick Lowe, Jim Keltner (AKA Little Village)

Holy shit @"Laocoön" up to 117 posts.

Play Guns N Roses loud in your car today and people are looking at you to see your mullet. Play Def Leppard and everyone knows you're a fun guy who knows how to lay the pipe with the ladies.

Really? I mean do you honestly think anyone north of Kent has laid pipe to Hysteria in the past 20 years?

The obvious top two belong in any best eva tournament, rather easily.
But Hutchence was talented and doesn't deserve this blowout, so I'll throw a vote to the fellow depressed dude.
Kick was a great fucking album.
