Shout at the Devil
Rebel Yell
Metal Health
The Hurting

...were all good too.

Somehow my fave song from the year is from someone who otherwise could miss me with his entire 80's catalog: "Well I guess that's why they call it the blues"
Love it, and even has Stevie Wonder on the harmonica. Played at the funeral for @MrsNoWarningJustDawg as I wanted something besides the tear-jerking BS she picked out.
...Yeah yeah, CSB.

Hooked up multiple times with a gal post- TDome Police concert. Have to go with that strictly on that basis.

The beginning (and end, although I like selected cuts going forward) of my U2 phase...saw them at the Paramount...before “the pageantry” took over the music. Shout out to Dio, and the Femmes...

I've really only cared for three U2 albums. This was my favorite and has New Year's Day which is their best song.

I was in 7th grade that year, and was so excited about the Police - Tacoma Dome concert even though I didn't get to go.

When you consider that Michael Jackson's Thriller also came out that year and what it meant to the culture, '83 was a great year for music
