I'd wager that Blazing Saddles might be the most culturally significant film of the 1970's after Godfather I and II.

I prefer Animal House simply because I subsequently lived it.

But Blazing Saddles is going to win this.

I voted for Animal House because it has given me the blueprint to conduct my life like a drunken frat boy for 45 years (and counting)…

I have to vote Blazing Sadles cause fuck them Fabertards. Also inherited too much lazy UW drunken frat boy genes from my old man. I’m bitter.

The issue here is not whether we broke a few rules, or took a few liberties with our female party guests—we did.

I'm not going to stand here while you badmouth drunken frat boys.

Gentlemen.

My mom told me that my father, retired and in his 70's, would set his alarm, and get up in the middle of the night, to watch Up in Smoke when it was on HBO / Showtime. He was not a stoner, as far as I know...CSB
