@WoolleyDoog gave us an update three years ago when he went to the UW-Cal game. Here's an update to that update.

Just think that Cali dems voted for this sh*t. Same with Portland dems. Headboard is way ahead of the pack on the 2026 Cali governor race. They haven't learned a thing.

Bearslose assured me Berkely was a model for progressive policies and basically a utopia for everyone. Uh….turns out it all sucks, just like him.

@BearsWiin called me a “coward” for leaving shithole Portland after 25 years and taking my tax dollars to Montana.

I forgot to respond to this, but Westwood had turned into a similar ghost town for years before I left LA in 2021 so I'm sure it's even worse. The few students I would actually see on either of those campuses while walking around were a stark contrast to those I saw when I was in college - all seemed unhappy, no other way to say it than not good looking, and a lot of segregation by sex. I think part of the problem with Berkeley and Westwood is you probably have students who only focus on academics and aren't out living and socializing.
There wasn't a single sports bar in all of Berkeley that I could find. The closest thing was a tap room.
I was shocked at Cal did manage to have a great chunk of students and decent looking students show up for the game once in started in 2022.

North Oakland suffering? Online courses allow the majority of Cal students to take their classes from the comforts of home in China.
