42 murders so far this month, tying the record set in May. And if accuracy improved, they'd have already shattered the record. The city has a fighting chance to get to 400 for the year. Think about that. A city of 600,000 people with 300-400 murders in a single year. It's mind-boggling.

The leadership in that city and state over the past 50ish years, combined with "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" and "Black Lives Matter" have certainly been impactful.
