Stanford is going to have a monster defense for the foreseeable future. And their S&C (and roid) program may be the best in the country.Their class this year might end up 2nd to only SC in the conference.

I expect their offense to continue to slide back. It has gotten consistently worse under Shaw even with a veteran 2x rosebowl QB.

But as long as Stanford isn't Buddy Teevens bad, they're going to get talent. They've cornered the market for elite education and competent football.

Bingo. They have recruited well and their roid program is great. Their teams pass the look test.

I was reading how a 5star Texas DE, Solomon Thomas, added something like 30 pounds of muscle or something ridiculous in 9months during his redshirt year last year at Stanford. And this kid was already a weight room fiend out of high school, looking atypically rocked out and not fat. They are obviously roiding at a magical level. BALCO is right down the street afterall.
