The current state of the LA schools has helped ASU immensely. The top tier recruits in the west have shifted to Washington and Oregon where they used to go to USC and UCLA. Banks, Bunkley-Shelton, Ngata, etc. were all guys that they were able to scoop up as a result.

That and we actually decided to hire guys to recruit LA.
Graham got 0 high school kids from CA in 17. How is that possible?
