I always thought 16 was a perfectly symmetrical number of games. But it's all about the moneyThe NFL thinks they are bullet proof because so far they have been. I think they may have a similar problem to college ball in getting to the championship too far down the road. It's been in February for awhile now but the 17th game is new and stupid IMO
However I bet the ratings are huge - maybe all time because of the three peat
The 17 game schedule is gay and I don’t mean gay as in happy, I mean gay as in retarded.I always thought 16 was a perfectly symmetrical number of games. Jason Whitlock thinks the NFL might be lying about the ratings. But the whole Taylor Swift/Kelce thing might have been enough to break records. I don't know, but I do know it appeals to me none whatsoever. As predicted, record ratings. Most watched ever. Hard to tell the NFL they are doing something wrong when the cash keeps flowing
Looking at the post game headlines and the whole deal is now like a gossip column. But they attract a lot of women and that was the goal
Swifties and the Kelce bros and all that sells soap
I think the ratings are a total fabrication. I checked a few sites the morning after that all said they were down 5%.Jason Whitlock thinks the NFL might be lying about the ratings. More people with TVs and other streaming capabilities might push these numbers up. There might be interest from 20 and maybe even some 30 something’s in the Kendrick vs Drake drama but more people interested in Kendrick than MJ in his prime? They also said that the Usher halftime show, whenever that was, was the all-time record w/202 million.
