I don't know. If I went to more games I might have a jersey to wear for cargo shorts weather. In general, though, I mostly think of replica jerseys as being for fat grocery store clerks and the weekly goodwill shopper.

I have the Chris Petersen pullover and the Jimmy Lake panting husky sweatshirt from when we got our asses kicked by UCLA with those "reverse retro" 1991 themed stuff for players and coaches.
I'm not necessarily a jersey guy, especially garbage Nike ones, but I think it looks better than being a boomer that tucks his collared shirt into his khakis and pulled up to his nipples.

I make one exception to my jersey policy: row boat jersey from other teams you've bested in feats of strength.
For those not aware, "shirt betting" is an ancient row boat tradition. When you lose, you have to give your jersey to the winner of the race.
I still occasionally, rock a CAL tank on hot summer's day.

My lil' pisses (aged 7 and almost 11) both have massive jersey stockpiles and that's pretty much all they wear to school. We've got a ton of Hawks, Chargers, Blazers, Penix, Odunze, UW Hoops, etc jerseys.
I've told them that they will no longer get to wear them past age 18 and they don't believe me.
One of the most important jerbs of being a parent is to help ensure your kids don't grow up fucking dweeb.

One of the hottest sights I've ever seen was an Arabic women I knew in my twenties when I gave her a NY Mets jersey and she wore that and nothing else.
On men, I always think it's more or less a retarded adolescence
