This explains a lot: Sarkisian, on his radio show, said UW implemented a new scheme on kickoff coverage last week. Obviously didn't work.

That would be a valid excuse if let's say if kickoff coverage wasn't a problem and it was just one kickoff that they busted.

In 2009 Stanford returned the opening kickoff for a TD. UW was so confused on special teams Sark had THREE different guys field punts because in game five he still doesn't know who his punt returner is.

Exactly! Players are totally different from then yet it's still a problem. Special teams have been awful every year but 2011 and that year was a mix bag.

Johnny Nansen was a LB in college who has coached the DL and was the recruiting coordinator that fucked things up locally. Now he's coaching rb's and special teams. Special teams are the easiest things to coach and fix....and apparently fuck up.

You'd think with THREE kickers on Scholarship that one of them would be capable of doing just that.

You've made the best argument I've ever seen for firing Sark immediately. His special teams were shit in 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2013 and mediocre in 2011.

The season is over and the program is over until Sark LEAVES!

When they brought on Coons, we were all told about his ability to boom kickoffs. Now he has to punt and kick field goals, so they played rock, paper, scissors with the other 2 kickers, and Rip lost.
