They renamed the Pac-12/Big 12 bowl in Tempe from the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl to the Cactus Bowl.

Now the #7 Pac-12 team can go to a bowl game with a decent name (and play in January!!!). Also, with the change away from the Fight Hunger Bowl, I think we no longer have a tie to a bowl game with a shitty name.

Rose (Big 10)
Alamo (Big 12)
Holiday (Big 10)
San Fransisco (Big 10)
Sun (ACC)
Las Vegas (MWC)
Cactus (Big 12)

Why do you hate spicy wings that make your anus feel like your an Argentinian futbol player afterwards?

Well this sure throws a curveball into the proposed Christmas Bowl

I say bring back the Emerald Bowl, rename it the Lemon Bowl. Play it at Safeco in the rain

So the second place team still plays in the Alamo Bowl. That's ridiculous.

If the 2nd place team finishes in the Top 11 or thereabouts, they can be picked up to play in one of the CFB at-large bowls, so the Fiesta, Cotton or Peach will be open.

That'd mean the Alamo would be 3rd, Sun would be 6th (remember not too long ago when the Sun got 3rd place Pac-10? JFC) and so on.
