It's going to take a lot longer to get to 15 games when it's only the NW 1. RIP COOG & BOOV.

I ordered a UW poster and had it framed at a local place. The guy starts chatting and says he gets an Oregon fan in there a lot and all the green and yellow. Says the guy is a huge Oregon fan who flies out to a couple games.

Then he says, “his (the Oregon fan) dad is Rich Brooks”

At halftime UW led 10-7. Both teams were comingled as they headed up the Husky tunnel. UW safety Ken Gardener turned to some Ducks and said "Somehow you guys are hanging with us pretty good so far".

Brooks reportedly used that at halftime to fire up the Ducks, and they went out and beat UW 34-10 with Reggie Ogburn at QB. I once interviewed Rich Brooks and asked him about it around 2004 but I just can't remember exactly what he said.
