This was the 1st time in 18 years that an SEC school didn't have the top ranked class.
USC had the honor. While USC endowment isn't Harvard of Stanford that still have REAL money.
Be interesting to see how this plays out @creepycoug . Those SEC car dealers can't compete with actual wealth.
 
It does seem to be changing. The days of giving $20,000 playing in the best conference isn’t enough anymore.

Yeah, they have a lot of money but remember they are running a small city. People think SC is this small private university but in fact there are close to 50,000 students there. Together with the hospital system and the other graduate and professional schools, many of which are capital intensive, they have a big nut to solve for every year.
But yeah, they have more money than a lot of the southern schools … not all but a lot.

A&M has damn near UT and Michigan type money and those fascists still suck ass at football.
