It’s funny because he and Bellotti were both great at identifying OC/QB coaches. That Cal State Chico/Davis/Fresno pipeline served Oregon well throughout the 90s/early 2000sBrooks was almost at the culmination of the 17 year plan
Yeah but Oregon sucks. And besides, they haven't won a Natty since the ramen company awarded Confucius the title. It’s funny because he and Bellotti were both great at identifying OC/QB coaches. all really good OCs and we had generally good Backfield play for the better part of a decade and a half.
Musgrave, O’Neill, Graziani, Smith, Harrington, Clemens, Dixon all played on Sundays
Loville, Whittle, Philyaw, McCullough, Droughns, Morris, Smith, Stewart, Johnson as well.
The tailback position really started to take off when Chip landed as the OC, obviously, but Campbell had been there forever and really had that thing rolling at that point in his career.
Wasn't Bob Toledo also part of that Davis/San Jose/Pacific mafia? It’s funny because he and Bellotti were both great at identifying OC/QB coaches. That Cal State Chico/Davis/Fresno pipeline served Oregon well throughout the 90s/early 2000sBrooks was almost at the culmination of the 17 year plan
